These contributions support the outstanding medical education and research programs that make Summa Health System a leader in providing quality health care for members of surrounding counties including Summit, Stark, Portage, Medina, and Wayne counties. Tax-deductible gifts can take many forms, including:

• Commemorative gifts, which are given in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one and serve as outstanding tributes in their names, while contributing to health and healing for others;
  
  
• Renewable annual gifts, which are contributions that provide ongoing support for Summa's programs of medical research, education and patient care;
  
  
• Major gifts, or unique, one-time gifts provide naming opportunities in the areas of medical education, medical research and other special projects. These types of contributions offer a specific way to perpetually associate the name of an individual, couple, family, foundation, business or corporation with the Summa Foundation.
